Now Hiring and Training Background Investigators

If you are looking for a great career where you work from home and do important work to support national security, a brief window of opportunity is at hand during a major hiring surge in the field of Background Investigators.

Hi, I’m John O’Laughlin, Senior Training Manager at CACI. I’m here to support your success from the very start. Our goal is to recruit the best, train the best, and perform the best.

Quick Start

To get started just email your resume (.pdf preferred) to me (email address in picture above) and I’ll give you feedback on your fit for current background investigator opportunities.

Role and Requirements

Qualifications for new background investigators is either 3 years of demonstrated progressive experience or a bachelor’s degree.

The biggest demand area for jobs right now is in Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, Maryland and Southern California, but jobs are open across the country.

Starting pay in the Washington, DC area work begins at $15.80 per hour plus market adjustments, an iPhone, Internet bill allowance, benefits, a laptop computer and office set up.  Pay increases are available as investigators progressively demonstrate accuracy and increased capacity for case work.

The 4 week training program is designed for a successful start to learn the job requirements and to be trained to the National Training Standards.
